Belated thanks for this, Lisa, and for the other recommendations, several of which passed me by (even when you know a writer’s quality, it’s hard to carve out the bandwidth necessary to read all the stuff you’d like to nowadays!)

I’ve been spending a bit more time on Medium the last few weeks, and my, there is so much good stuff on here — such an antidote to the toxicity predominating so many other internet platforms.

Here’s hoping this place goes from strength to strength in 2018. God knows, we need all the “intelligent rage” the world can muster right now.
