Cheers Lisa. I hear you on the caveat, and I have to admit I’m not 100% sold on my own thesis, at least partly due to the many horrible women occupying positions of influence in public life. I think that showed in the piece a little. But I suppose my governing theory about the distribution of power nowadays is that the people who need to give some up are responding in the most pathetic ways. So stuff ’em. Time to shake things up root and branch. But, hell, November must still feel like a long way off.
