Thanks Felicity — I agree with all of this. People have to realize that it’s not about personal agency. It’s about awareness. We need to start talking about this stuff, rather than pushing it away because it is scary, or because we don’t like the fact that we are all complicit in destroying our children’s future.

The scale of the challenge terrifies me, mostly because I am still in some denial myself. Watching the Attenborough doc, I wanted to walk out of the room. I know I should read Wallace-Wells’ book, but I don’t know if I can take that much of a reality-check. And that’s me, someone who is trying to engage with the subject. What of the billions of people who won’t even countenance the existence of climate change? We are facing the battle of our lives.

Thanks for everything you’ve been doing, and keep spreading the word.
