But how, exactly, do we stop it?

I still believe, for the sake of my kids, that there are myriad ways to stop it. My fear is that the solutions require a level of multilateral cooperation which society seems demonstrably unable to conjure.

When you consider that everyone has started to lose their shit over what, in historical terms, are minor bumps, the auguries for the future, when climate change really starts to bite, for example, are chilling.

We are at a fork in the road. Down one path there is hope, down the other ruin. All anyone can do is aim for the former, and pray.
